NEWSFLASH!!!

I have thought about this long and hard, and I have decided: I am closing up shop here. HOWEVER!!! I am not leaving DA, just moving my base of operations to a different account. The account I'm speaking of has been around since about a year ago, and I've been much better at putting up art like I'm supposed to be doing on that account. So, here's what's going to happen:

1.) I am going to remove all of my deviations and move them to my other account.
2.) I am going to cease (almost) all usage of this account.
3.) I am going to move to my other account.

I want to make a few things clear: I am not doing this to get away from anybody. I'm just doing it to kind of simplify things a bit.

Oh, one last thing: Anyone who still wants to keep in touch, here's the location of my other account:

Who I am: I am a 17-year-old prissy little white boy in my junior year of high-school. I'd like to think that I'm a nice guy, but I have to admit that I am not the most industrious of workers. I love rock and roll, especially metal, but I have never been to a concert before

. I also really like manga, comedies, and gaming. (I've never done online gaming before either.

) Finally, I’m a big military history buff, (mostly WWII, but a little bit of WWI) and I love fighter planes.

What I do: I love drawing. I almost always stick to just plain pencils, but I’ve been working on using colored pencils and markers for a little bit. I mostly draw manga, and I think I’m pretty good at it. However, I’ve still got a ways to go until I master it. (I’m still working on doing poses and drawing things from different angles) I also have been practicing drawing anthro and military stuff, and I’m getting better at those. Finally, I’ve been doing a lot of rock-influenced drawings lately (I just kind of add it in as a “flavoring” to my manga/anthro pics that I’ve done) and I think I’m getting pretty good at it. The only thing that I’m not really any good at is drawing backgrounds, but that’s mostly because I’ve never really tried to draw them.

I also have written a few stories under other accounts that I’ve had, so I’m decent at that too. What I’d really love to do is to make a comic series, whether by myself or in cooperation with someone else, but I’m so underdeveloped with my art skills that that’s just a pipe dream right now.

Last point for this topic: If you actually like my work enough (or are insane enough) to ask me to draw something for you, I will NEVER say no to you. However, I’m horrible at making deadlines, (working on it) so beyond “I’ll have it for you within a year” I can’t make any kind of guarantee and still be honest.

Why I’m here: I discovered DA about three years ago, and it quickly overthrew addictinggames.com as my favorite website. However, I didn’t get my own profile until early summer of 2008. Since then, I’ve had one other profile besides this one. (started in late summer of 2008) I started this profile for a couple of reasons:
1.) With my other profiles, I had only revealed part of myself, and I wanted to kind of “get it all out in the open”.
2.) I want to meet other people who won’t think I’m messed up, (nobody’s actually called me that, I’m just waaaaay paranoid about it.

) and hopefully, be friends with them. Nothing sucks more than knowing that even though you’re on the internet, the easiest place in the world to meet people, nobody’s paying any attention to you. I just want to make friends and talk with people.

What I think: I'm not the kind of person to get into massive online catfights. I don't hate anybody that I have actually met, I'm not good at holding grudges, and I'm pretty accepting of others in general. Basically, as long as you’re not into small children or insane amounts of gore, violence and pain, you aren’t going to scare me off. I’m not going to blast anyone for being an “inflationist”, a “yiffer”, or anything like that, because I kind of am one myself. That, and it’s just not a nice thing to do in the first place. So, to make a long story short: I’m probably not going to get freaked out by anything that you’re into. All I ask is that you return the favor. Thank you.
